MOVE TUNE SKATE

Fine tuning without taking off the skis? Simple as that with the MOVE TUNE SKATE. With 9 different stages, each representing 6-mm movements of the binding forward or backward, the cross-country skis can be optimized for all snow conditions. Moving the binding forward results in easier control of the ski in hard snow, while moving it backward releases pressure in the front and allows the skis to float on loose snow. Together with the NIS 1 binding plate, it is the perfect binding setup.

Kastle Kaestle Skis

Born in Austria

NORDIC TECHNOLOGY

What puts our new generation of cross-country skis at the top has its roots in the 1970s: it is pure innovative power. Just like back then, we are developing technologies and designs that go from the professional sector into series production - and once again setting new standards, whether in the classic or skating sector.

All of our cross-country skis feature a carbon-reinforced CAP construction where the surface layer runs over the sides, effectively protecting the core.

A passion for skiing is deeply rooted in the company's DNA and will sustain our main source of motivation.

Key Nordic technology from Kästle

CONSTRUCTION

All cross-country models have a carbon-reinforced CAP construction. Its surface film runs over the side and thus protects the core perfectly. In the end, every Kästle Nordic ski is ideally tailored to its area of use.

CORE

Nowhere is survival harder than in nature - the solutions used here are accordingly sophisticated. With their hexagonal honeycombs, bees have developed an ideally stable construction that allows for maximum strength with the least amount of material.

VARIANTS

Professional cross-country skiing is an extreme sport – for athletes and equipment! And with different temperatures and snow conditions, there are variables that cannot be influenced. We have developed four types of running surface for optimal performance in a wide range of conditions.

SURFACE

For the top models, we use high-quality graphite sintered rubbers. The result: the best gliding properties and maximum durability. We offer four rubbers tailored to the area of use and conditions. The number of stars describes the quality of the gliding properties.

BASE GRIND

In addition to the coating, the right grind has an immense influence on the gliding properties and must be selected according to the prevailing conditions. Rule of thumb: the warmer, the coarser the structure.

BINDING SYSTEM

Kästle cross-country skis are delivered with an integrated NIS plate* - it guarantees a natural flex thanks to the screwless connection to the ski.

The plate is compatible with the New Nordic Norm (NNN) from Rottefella.
